I was thinking to put on my Trail the Airaid Throttle body Spacer, the Rock It Dual Intake Air tube and a tornado in that. My question is can i use the spacer and the tornado together? Should i just get one of them? But im def. going to get the Rock It Dual Intake Air tube in a couple of days. Just need to save some money cause i just put the wind Jammer wing on the Trail. Looks HOT!!!

Don't bother with the Tornado, it's garbage, throttle body spacer is questionable, but people have noticed improvements. But Lord Oh Mighty, please don't waste your money on a Tornado!!

Even if you were crazy enough to waste your money on a Tornado, I doubt that it would fit in the aftermarket intake tube.

Oh, and pics of said Wind Jammer!!

The tornado is junk, don't waste your money. Big debate on whether the throttle body spacer is worth it. The intake however, go for it.:m2:

:undecided Hi.
I'm new to this forum but been a member of evo forums forever.. I just put in Airaid TBS on my tailblazer today and a K&N Cold Air Intake Last week..
"My thoughts" K&N INTAKE> There is a Large differance in hp from 4.5-7Krpms with the K&N intake. It Feals live I'm driving a honda with a V-tec once the RPM's hit 5K the thing gose nuts!! but from 2K-4.5K no real gain in hp...
Airaid TBS> I can tell that the TBS is gaining me more HP around the 3-5Krpm rpm range. befor I added the TBS it seemed to lag from 3-5K rpm rang. Now it has stedy pull from 3-7Krpms

I have spoke with a few guys who owen them and expect 2mpg+ from the spacer and 1.5-2MPG better from intake.

The Cons K&N- Much loader intake note. <-- I like. Wife dose not! At low rpm like 1.5-2.8K seems to have lost a lil punch.

Airaid TBS cons- This thing makes a very load anoying SHHUUCCCHH sound From the 2-4Krpm range! For a few hp and better gas mileage its worth the anoyance
I think I might get use to it but I'm sure my wife is going to hate it.

Suggestion. I have looked at the airaid and the K&N inake systems.. The K&N Look like a much better system. It bypasses all the sound baffles where I see the Airaid just replaces the inake tube. You will see with the airiad installed it still has the baffle that says vortec on it. With the K&N it gose rite from the TB to the custom intake box.

I hope this info helps you.

I plain on getting Magnaflow cat-back, 180 thermotstat, Than the jet chips stage2 chip and I'll be done with engine mods..

Would think you would need to reprogram the computer if you change the thermostat temp. I have the westers tune. major improvment.:m2:

With stage 1 you only need to run mid grade and will work with lil mods. If you go for the stage 2 you have to run 91+ have a free flowing exsaust and Intake and like i said in last post a lower temp thermostat.:)

Curious to see how many horsies it really produces. I read where they said "up to 25" .....that could mean 1. lol.... They said all there chips are dyno and track tested, I would like to see the results of those tests.

Read more forum posts. Jet Chips marginal improvement. Don't think there is a 180 thermostat that fits 4.2L. Research results on Westers tune, or possibly wait4me tune. The Westers will remove the torque management that keeps the 4.2L from any performance before 3K rpms.
