Anyone want me to make a tutorial for installing Nav/Metra wire-tunes with pics?

Anyone want me to make a turtorial with pics for replacing stock HU with nav unit + wiretunes? If anyones intrested let me know and i'll write one when i go to install mine and take pictures and part #s for everything?

It was a bitch to figure out how to get the bezel front off my denali, but i finnaly got it off. The wiretunes adapter came in the mail today, My nav unit should arrive tommorow. I'll take pictures of how to disaseemble it etc. Anyone who uses an ipod must get a wiretunes, best adatper ever you can keep xm

I've got the Wire-Tunes adapter in my truck. Only downside is that I have a Delco radio and it is not "XM Ready", so I can't see titles and artists, but I am gonna get the display when Metra puts it out...

I put the wiretunes adapter in my '05 tb and took pics, so if I send them to you Tommy then can you get them on the site for me. Or, I can send them to whomever it is that decides they want to write up an article or procedures for it.

Ok I instaleld 15230099 nav unit. But i'm not getting any sound. Anyone have any idea whats up with it? Also where is the amy in an Envoy Denali? I'm wondering if its really a lux amp or not. I had the unit unlocked at teh factory and it seems to work just fine except no sound

Is your nav unit an add on to the factory stereo or did you replace it with something else? If you replaced it then does the stereo itself work for music? If you didn't replace the stereo then is the nav system hooked up to the speaker lines that are coming out of the back of the stereo or does it have it's own speaker?

Its facctory hooked up fine, I got the lux model instead of the non lux, its for sale now since I can't use it.

Well My non lux nav should be here tommorow I hope and everything will work fine. I resold my lux one on ebay and got more for it then I paid. Lets just hope this non lux one works
