Ordered the borla kit

Thanks to the sound clip posted here.

Does anyone have any tips on how to do this the fastest?

How long does the exhaust take to cool down. I will probably try to do this a night after work because my weekends are pretty full. Im thinking take off and put on in three hours is that possible?

on your back in the driveway plan on longer and even longer if it dark. probabley take 2 hours to cool enough

I had an exhaust shop put the Borla on my '03 Envoy SLT. Took them exactly one hour. They said it was the easiest kit they ever put on. But the kit was actually short one pipe which they had to custom bend. Took Borla about 3 weeks to get me the corrrect pipe. Make sure you have all parts before starting install.

You will have drone. If that is not a problem to you, you will have a nice system.

I had my local muffler place put mine on, took them longer to get the stock system out then it did to install the borla.

Me and a friend took 2 hours to do it. We had a hard time getting the stock one off(we took it off in one piece...just in case i ever need to put it back on) We had to drop the rear to get the stock exhaust off.

I order mine from ebay. Where did you orders yours from? I already have a tracking numbers that says it should be delivered may2.

When you say rear you mean spare tire?

We did remove the spare, but we dropped the entire rear axle to get the stock exhaust off in one piece(you might not have too, but it was much easier this way)

They're willing to take a whopping $15 off my order for my incovenience.. I told them that it wasn't good enough.. I asked them to call around for any, and if they don't find one, i'm canceling my order and getting one off ebay. I'm not waiting 4-5 more weeks.

seriously it was. Dont know if it was because of the new spark plugs or just that fact the the battery was disconnected and the engine reset more to my liking. I was standing behind the truck and was like "damn" that sounds nice today.

Finally got the borla on today. I have to say I like it. As I drive it more the exhaust get louder. Can't wait till it breaks in more. Im very happy and can feel a difference in power. How long till it breaks in?
