Don't know how well, but it was very fun!! Ya gotta understand, that this was the first time I have ever run anything down the track. I didn't get it staged the way I wanted. I wanted to load it up to about 3000 RPM's. I didn't have time. Launched it at 1500 RPM's. I felt the sluggish take off. (its hard to stage when you are busy watching a silver SS staying even with an EVO) Any way, my take off sucked, really really bad. However, I ran a 16.138@87.98 MPH. Definately has mid to high 15 second times in it. Not too bad a first try though. Oh, I was matched up with an S-10 with a 350 rumbling under the hood.....he got me.....by .6 seconds.

Incidently, the EVO that Fishy dude raced was modified. I didn't understand all the ricer lingo, but he seemed quited proud of all his work.

Mini meet and a run down the strip! We were hoping Joe could do 2 runs so I could get alot of pics, but time ran out. The wife did the best she could. We have video of Joe's SS vs Evo VIII, and Ghoster vs S-10 w/350. Sadly, we both lost. Not shocking though. We had an awesome time! Joe may not sleep for a week, he ran a personal best, and was just a hair away from actually BEATING an EVO!!!! Way cool.

You should practice on your staging before your next meet with Joe so you can run a better time.

:rotfl: :rotfl: agreed. By the time I got the truck in position, the tree started down. I didn't have time to get ready. I probably should have put down the drink too.:D I haven't seen anybody else post times for the I6 though. :raspberry

Don't know if this will work, but lets give it a try. Joes SS (http://s34.photobucket.com/albums/d147/ghoster69/?action=view&current=MVI_0296.flv)

Did you turn on your LED's ghoster? When you lose you should to show them that your TB is green with envy :raspberry 16.1 isn't bad at all!!! Maybe if you removed the spare and the jack set, you could run high 15's

Good time fish!! What was your best w/o the tune? I'm still running stock, but I'm getting the itch real bad.

Your not the only getting the itch. When i was younger I had a 60 Apache that would run high 11's ( litteraly a brick on wheels :D ). Now watching that vid brought back that itch and makes me want to get out to the track on day and just goof around and have fun.:raspberry

I never ran it stock, my first outting with it best was a 13.8, the run before this was a 14.4  However it was found to be some very bad Sunoco 93 from a station in Wilmington,DE Never will I go there again, It actually made me backfire on the 14.4 run. Lesson learned, Don't buy premium from a center city gas station :weird:

Hey Joe!! Forgot to tell you. I don't know whats wrong with DE gas, but its garbage!!! I ran at the track with gas that came from Shell in the Richmond area. I filled up from Shell leaving your area, and the truck does NOT like it! The idle has gotten a little rough, and my acceleration isn't what it should be. The gas you are running is really really crappy! I don't know what the deal is there, but I would bet you lost a few tenths cuz of that crap. Maybe next time, run as low as you can, and fill up closer to the track. I may have to go run mine down tomorrow just to get that crap outta my tank!

It doesn't surprise me. Seems like every other week, I get a bad tank full. Probably our state GOV. trying to make up for now sales tax LOL

Hey Joe I agree. I think when we went to cecil last month we got some of the first batches of summer gas or something. Good to see your times dropping, there may be hope for me yet! :)
