Has anyone tried one of these units? Looks like the perfect solution!

Details are here (http://iweb.alpine-usa.com/pls/admn/item_info?p_item_name=VPA-B211A&p_category=130&p_subcategory=&p_main=30) and here (http://www.alpine-usa.com/products/leading_technology/leading_tech_vhub.htm).

Keep your factory video display, and get IPod song info to display on the factory HU! I wonder if there is a 3rd party adapter for the TB/Envoy/Rainier. Going to have to call my local shop to find out!

Anyone with experience with this please let me know how it is! Its fairly new, looks like it was just announced May 10.

Can you feed composite video input into a factory nav? I guess that is the question, huh...

My mom just got a Yukon XL Denali with the factory nav. and we've been wondering if there is some way to make it play dvds. I guess there is a way

i think you can play dvd's or video on the Nav screens,--- the alpine hub (http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=832) alone will not do it. You need a 3rd party navigation video adapter (http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=817) and cable for it to work. I have seen this in my neighbors Audi A6.
