If we could meet up around 7:30-8 at the Texas Motorplex (we'll be pretty distinct, I doubt there will be very many other TB SS's there) that would work, considering DFW is a pretty large area. They're open till 11:45 on May 5th, so we can get a few runs in.

the last time i went to the track people were laughing cause it was an suv fixin to go down the track,then they saw my time and they quit laughing.they had an nsx that ran .4 faster than me(this with mods on the nsx)

I would have gotten the CAI in time for Friday if Chris had gotten back to me, but I guess they are in crazy limited supply right now.

The convertor is crazy, I'm launching so much harder with it now, it'll be nice to see how much I picked up compared to you guys that are coming.

RED SS probably has the title of fastest for now...but my Yank/SS3600 is on the way ordered it Monday...so enjoy it while it lasts... :yes: I have exhaust mods... The Texas Rear Turbo guys are extremely knowledgable and courteous. They are amazing. I feel kinda bad that I screwed them over a bit with my install, but hopefully I'll be able to get back to them to do more work.

Good night, I got several runs in, and met Pedro and a Black SS that was randomly there I think.

bignhuge, we were dissappointed you didn't show.

Pedro had some issues with his times, but the Black SS ran a 14.6 bone stock (the weather was hot and humid, with lightning and rain on the way, which forced us to stop running)

My best times were in 13.7 range at 96/97 mph trap speed. 60' was consistently under 2 seconds, not bad considering C6's were running 12.9-13.3s.

Heh, that run was actually one of my worst runs. I had no idea what I was doing there with the reverse either heh, I kinda wasn't looking at the tree and playing with my shifter and thought I went over

I have a good excuse brother. My SS had a unscheduled meeting with a pole :o about 2 feet tall while I was backing out of the parking lot at my job to come to the track. I haven't been on the forum 'cause I was too sick to talk about it... I was backing up in tight lot so had to cut the wheels to get out of the parking spot, and it was on my passenger side about even with the door...and as it was only 2 feet tall I couldn't see it. :worried: I ripped the front bumer off..and creased my fender a little. The chevy house has my parts on order...so it should be fixed in a couple of weeks. Meanwhile...I should get my converter friday...and will be going to your friends in Arlington...they weren't happy to hear from me...until they found out I was RWD. They DO NOT want to do another AWD SS...LOL. I will come out next time...fo shizzle. A wrecked SS is a sad thing. :cry:

Mine is crashed on the same corner as Red's...but not nearly that bad...my headlight and grill are ok...just the very corner of fender and bumper...I was only going like 2mph. I haven't taken any pics yet...can't bare to look at it. :worried:

Yeah, my story is cute.

Let a friend drive my SS for a night. Some lady with no insurance merged into him without checking if the lane was free and hit him. Took a while to get fixed because she had a fake insurance card.

Everything is back to normal, and my friend paid for my Yank SS 3600 and install, so I'm fine. Good luck with fixing your SS man, Red SS's are damage magnets.

Bahaha. I use that keychain only when I'm handing in the car for service. The guys over at Vandergriff Chevy looked at it for a second before looking up at me with a funny face.

I'll give the TRT guys a purple one next time I'm back there. Its cute that they liked it :D
