After it rains the SS has water leaking from under the dash on driver's side directly in front of the pedals. Has anyone seen this before? It must be coming from the cowl area. I've been through car washes with it and it hasn't done it, it seems like it only leaks when it sits in the rain.

Take your badboy into the dealer before you start seeing some more problems. Imagine if more water is getting in elsewhere?

yeah that's what I'm planning on doing. I just figured I'd check here to see if someone else had a similar problem.

I had the very same problem that you just described...I wasn't made aware of it until I removed my Husky liner from the driver's side,as I had found my whole floor on the driver's side soaking wet...Also, the water had worked it's way to an area running along the rocker panel and extending back along that almost to where the driver's seat is bolted down...The dealership called in a 'leak expert" from outside their company and he showed the GM techs the problem area of water infiltration...The techs removed the wiper cowl and exposed an unsealed seam in there below the cowl and spent about an hour resealing the seam...No problems since... They addressed the warranty issue professionally and I had my truck back that afternoon...A slight inconvienience, but they got her right the first time,no repeat/return trips for that little dilemma...Anyways, have your dealership examine under the wiper cowl, it sounds a hell of a lot like my old problem...Good luck, and as always, give us a report on how you did and what was causing it...:)

I had that problem a few months back in like Nov, but it hasnt done it since. I knew there was water because it was pooling in my Husky liner and my brake controller had water on it.
