no word yet on the 07 models... mules in the new body styles are running around(in camo), but i think they will come into production in 2008; they will probably produce them after the autoshow release like the tahoe.

new fullsize truck line will come out first though, so that may back things up a little bit.

bottom line, will GM make the TBSS in 2007? i would guess yes, but you never know with GM, so i cannot tell you confidently.

Those are for all TBs, not just SSs. But, it makes be mad that the SS package is now a standalone truck, not a sub option. Man, cant have the B4U package!!!

What's the disadvantage to the SS being it's own seperate model, and not a sub-option?

Appears GM has made the 2007 TB SS a stand alone model, instead of a package. GMC made the Envoy Denali a stand alone (instead of a package upgrade) when it first came out, and looks like Chevy is just getting in step.

I believe it means you're going to have to pay the gas guzzler tax now, since it's a standalone model and not an option. Ouch.

Gaz guzzler on a SUV? Nope...

The losing of the B4U package is what Im bummed about. I was thinking about maybe getting a plate with that on it, but it is probably better to not draw any more attention to you when driving a 395hp SUV that is hella fast.
