Do a search for them on here. The topic has been discussed to death, and it usually starts a fight. search for "chip" and "tune", its 2 different things. good luck, and welcome to Trailvoy.

Welcome to the forums!

I would not recommend getting the one chip available for the I6 from Jet, a custom tune is much better and only a little more.

I have Jet chips stage1 PCM AND I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT!Alot people who dont have tham say they dont do anything. But it made a huge differance on my TB! On the Jet Chips websight they show a stock 4.2 envoy gaining 20whp with 89octane gas. For 240.00$ this mod cant be beat. The chip allso changes shift points and makes it shifts faster and harder. Befor the chip there was no way i could do a burn out with out power breaking. Now i can kick it sideways around corners. "note" If you use 91+ you can feal a better gain than 89. but i ran it on 89 and it still ran fine and had more go than stock. If i were to do it all again this is the first mod I would add, than CAI, than exhaust.

Hope this helps:D

Don't think you have stabilitrac but you do have torque management

I live by one of the only 3 Summit Stores. Yeah I'm lucky.. They had it in stock so I got it the same day installed it in about 2 mins. Summit price was 221.00 plus tax.

I have been real lucky the summit sore had my cold air intake, jet chip and magnalfow muffler all in stock.

To get the stage 2 summit would of had to specail order it and and it would of taken a few weeks and you can only run 91+ gas. It allso said you need a lower temp thermostat that I could not find.. So I opted for the stage one.. With the stage one you can run mid grade or the cheep stuff if you want and it dose not affect the the idle or how it runs.. With 91 you can feal more power tho. I'm happy with the stage one. I would not get the stage 2 if i were you.

I just drove it this morening to the store and man I love the extra power this thing is giving me! :D feals like its got a v8 now.
