Umm since its general chat i thought why not throw in this question. Could anyone here cook nice bbq chicken? I been trying to bbq chicken for last a few weeks but no good luck. One side gets burned and from inside the chicken is not well cooked. I do have the bbq on low, Whats a good time to flip? do you only need to flip onces or keep fliping after a few mins? lol silly questions but i could really use some help since me and my friends are planning to go somewhere.

finally a question that charlie can't answer with saying check on ebay. I would punch something in google and see what kind of recipes come up.

I use a gas grill with the fire on low, I put aluminum foil on the top rack and bend up the edges (to make a tray, so to speak) so the juices stay in the foil. The foil shields the fire from burning the outsides, while having it on the top rack allows a "convection" type action to cook the chicken through and through. Flip every 30 minutes or so, as needed.

A trick is to use dry rub of spices on the chicken first, then a few minutes before removing them from the fire, smother them in BBQ sauce, that way they will not burn. You can't put the sauce on first, or it will burn. :m2: Make sure to test it out. Chicken can dry quick if cooked a little to long.

depends on what kind of chicken, if its brests, you wanna flip when the edges turn white, to diamond mark them turn every 4 min, so at 8 min flip them and do the same

Just remember, cooking chicken on the bone takes a little longer. Go out to www.foodtv.com for some awesome tips. I learn a lot from out there.

If your cooking bone "in" chicken, grab yourself a small therm, to check the internal temp, make sure it reaches 165 then you will be totally safe, anything under and the bacteria will not die,
if your cooking llama meat, then its 170
