I have the Airaid, pretty quiet since you keep the factory silencer, and flows very well. As for the performance, throttle feel smoother, and MPG's could go up depending on your driving. Look in my gallery for the picture. eBay also has no-name units which work well also.

You say the throttle feels smoother and the MPG might increase, but what about power? Do you get more hp or torque? That's what I want!

imho, i would get a kit to remove the resonator, if you dont mind a lil sound, for the most gain.

I hate to break the news to anyone who is under the impression that an intake will make these huge numbers and seat of the pants improvements. It will not happen. The couple of HP and TQ numbers you will see are almost un-noticeable. Now if you want to add some exhaust, and a tune for the computer also, then with some combos like that you will start to notice something in a performance increase. The only thing I have ever seen when I put on an intake, is more noise (down side), better air flow (up side), and sometimes a slight increase in MPG's, usually best gains come with both exhaust and intake for MPG's. :m2:

Agreed. Biggest difference will be the butt dyno's interpretation. :m2:

normally air intakes dont work and are for show, atleast in the mustang world haha.. But on a 03 Cobra a new intake is worth 30 RWHP.. I think mostly due to using the K an N filter..
