anyone looked at the possibility?
I thought about it but when it comes down to the price difference you can easily get another 100 more HP from the LS2 by modding/bolt-ons. eg. supercharger, cam, headwork, NOS :undecided
Doesn't make a lot of sense to yank a perfectly good 400HP engine and put in a 500HP engine that costs $13,000. Especially when you can, like SSTB said, bolt on a $5000 Magnacharger and get your 100 more ponies.
Add heads, a cam and headers to the blower on the stock LS2 and you're close to 600HP for something like $8,000.

...not to mention the LS7 will have less torque and a more peaky hp curve, neither of which are good for a heavy truck.
Go supercharger!

I believe the LS2 motor has major room fpr improvement I'm going with a set of cnc ls2 heads a cam, headers and some other bolt ons. I think 450-475 NA to the tire is capable. Guess I'll see!
LS7 would be awesome anyway you look at it!!
