Hey guys i had a question...... Tonight i won an EBAY auction on 4 new SS rims with hubs, etc. My question is this the owner doesn't offer Insurance on rims so was wondering would this be a safe transaction or not? I'm thinking if they get thrashed in shipping that i'm screwed. Let me know as i got 4 rims for $1045 shipped from Michigan to California.

Thanks and let the mods begin FINALLY.
I will have some aftermarket Gitano rims up for sale really soon for anyone out there wanting chromed 20's for their SS, etc

I guess you could ask him to find out about insurance. I cant wait to chrome the wheels on my dads truck. GM should really get a better source for the polished wheels. I just wouldnt use them in the winter since they will pit. Thats why im going to save the stock polished ones.

You should definitely do that on something that expensive... Don't want to take a $1,000+ hit b/c of an idiot seller...

not sure if anyone needs one but I found this site...

http://www.transwheel.com/ says $371 per wheel for our trucks, that's brand new, supposedly they have every wheel for almost every car made.

Demand that the seller insure at your expense.

We have used them many times in the past, and they are great people to deal with. They have a lot of different styles they keep in stock, and their prices are hard to beat. They are definately worth looking in to.

Did the wheels from EBAY come with tires too?
