Charger R/T is 5.7L hemi - 340 HP & 390 ft-lb
Charger SRT8 is 6.1L hemi - 425 HP & 420 ft-lb
Liquiddi - are you 2wd or awd? I would have expected an R/T to be pretty close with a stock TBSS, maybe even beat a stock awd (like mine :( ). According to dragtimes, they are getting high 13's, maybe a low 14.

It was the 340hp rt. I think it's a great kill considering how many stupid hemi comercials and stuff are out there. I'm sure the guys wife riding with him was like "why is there an SUV passing your almight hemi?" lol P.S. Mine is an AWD.

I ran a GO MANGO Daytona R/T Charger and just flat out killed it. My truck is a stock AWD. They're only around a 14.3 in the 1/4 at a track. If they spin at the light they're completly screwed on the street. I think it's going to take a car that is about a 13.5 at the track to take an AWD on the street. I've even smoked a SRT10 Ram truck and it's 500 hp. It was a very close race though. But he burned it out of the hole and just couldn't make it up before the next light. He was impressed big time with the TBSS.

A tune and a torque converter will handle one on the street with no problems.At the track it'll be a good run. The SRT8 will probably have a car or 2 at the end.

Well, that's cool. And a little encouraging. I guess I've just seen so many people here posting times in the mid 14s, that I've started getting a little pessimistic about races. I personally haven't had one single decent race yet, so nothing to compare to. Just the lame fullsize trucks that put on loud exhaust and think that makes them fast, but those aren't even a real race. One of these days I'll just have to take it to the track and see what mine will really do.

I have a 2000 6 speed corvette and I have to admit this SS Trailblazer is more fun to drive. I just love how it catches people off guard. I'm even thinking about selling the vette. I'm going to get the Vector Tune next week. I don't see the need to have the vette considering I always want to drive the TBSS. Isn't that crazy! I love it!

I wish my 2wd SS could have a nice story, but she has all 4 tires/rims off and sittin under a cover gettin alot of mods lately:cry: .

that was right off the dealer lot. i just changed the rear tires at 4500 miles with cords showing in the centers. nice to be sponsored by BFG
