I have sent an email out to three of the torque converter compnaies discussed on this forum asking for info and pricing for a 2WD TBSS (Yank, Racing Edge, Precision Industries).

From Yanks website, I gather that their TC will run anywhere from 500-900, depending on whether you buy a truck application or I believe BLUBYU has the car app listed on website (SS3600). Do I need the truck app TC?

Racing Edge is about $600 and they'll custom build to whatever stall value you want.

Precision industries is the most at $930, but it also has the best warranty at 2 years and one free stall value change in case of heavy modding.

If anyone can offer any insight as to the differences between these companies it would be appreciated. Precision claims that there pcs are all billet machined and other competitors do not, but is this really necessary unless you're pushing serious hp. I am looking to order now and I want to go with a 3000 or 3200 stall, main factor is that it is a daily driver and I like the stock driveability under light throttle. Anyone with a TC already please chime in on your stall value and driveability.
