K&N air filter

Does anyone have an experience with The K&N air filter. I have had my ss for about 2 months and wanted to find a inexpensive way to get a little more pep or would you look at spending more and getting a new intake system. If so what are good options.

My last car was a seville sts so i new nothing about intake systems or tuning until I founds this awesome site.

Go with a CAI (cold air intake) system. Vector has one out, but you should get a tune from them as well.

That is what I am going to do. Between the two, should be good for at least 30hp.

I plan on taking the TBSS to the track next week, run it bone stock and get a base line number. Then, get the tune and CAI and see what improvement I get. Based on everything I have read, I would expect at least a 3-4 tenths improvement in the 1/4.
