i had my ss tuned last week by westers tuning and i had left the stock shift points the same and was wondering what everybody else had there ss shift at??? and what a difference having a tune on this truck!!!!!!!!

Leaving the shift points stock will cost you quite a bit in ET and MPH at the track.. It's best to have them shift at 6500-6600..

That high Chris???!!!

Wow, those things rev even higher than our 4.2L I6s that redline at 6300 (PCM limits to 6200 for safety for shifting).

really 6500 6600 that does seem high. is that what you do your shifts chris? is that every shift 1,2 2,3 ? what is the highest that the 6.0 can go before sh*t starts going wrong I like to have a little buffer zone. ya know what i mean
