I would like to hear people's opinions on whether they think a tranny cooler is required after a 3600 stall Torque Converter Install? If so, any recommendations?

I would personally put on one as a safety net, but don't know if it would be required....actually, not sure anyone has replaced the TQ Converter on an I6 TrailVoy. Please let us know how it works, might be a smart option for folks with the standard 3.42 gears to get off the line better w/o sacrificing rpms on the highway. Does the new coverter lockup like the original to reduce revs cruisuing?

Hi stall induced ATF temps would be an issue with heavy stop/go traffic. I'd be more concerned about TC lockup. You will overheat your 4L60E without proper TC lockup.

I think post starter has an SS. This question should have been in an SS forum.

I agree. I have a Yank SS4000 and tranny cooler in my SS. It was highly recommended and cost less than $100.
