I just recently got some 20" rims for really cheap and realized that riding around with the huge gap in my wheel well looks pretty whack.
So, I'm thinking about getting some Ground Force coils.
What I'm wondering is, if you paid to get coils installed, how much did you guys pay?
I just wanted a general idea of how much to expect to pay before I go asking around.
Another thing, if anyone is selling some some Ground Force coils, let me know :D

I paid $250 for all for wheels and alignment.

I can't give you a price, but if they charge anymore than 2-3 hours labor tops, take it somewhere else. It is not a hard job. It would be ideal to find a shop that can do the alignment also. :m2:
$250 sounds very fair with the alignment.

I paid $130.00 installation for the two front. It took about an hour and a half for them to install. I would think another hours labor would be all it would take for the rears. rt9bil got a good price for the complete job :m2:
I have the rears for sale if someone interested. They will give a 3" drop.

I did it myself fairly simple the rear pops out, and the front was common sense

I tried doing it myself but could not get the front shock yokes off of the lower control arm for the life of me. Took it to some redneck garage and when I looked at it later they grinded some of the control arm, like they had to fit something in there to wedge it off... :duh: (wasn't very happy to see that  ) What kinda tool do you use to get that off? I tried a small gear puller but it got bent up, then tried a ball joint separator and that didn't get me anywhere either... stupid front suspension...

If your going to do the front yourself, make sure u use a spring compressor. U don't want to get hit by one of those bad boys....ouch!!!

Holy crap  A few hard taps with the hammer on the bottom of the mount and they popped right off.

yeah... a few whacks on the bolt with nut loose on the end knocks it loose. I still had to have a screwdriver to pry it somewhat. front takes about an 1hr, and the rear took me about 30mins. Its pretty simple! all that is needed is a spring compressor and some metric sockets/wrenches!

Thanks for the replies. Now I have an idea of what to pay. It's always good to know that kind of stuff before going out asking for quotes. I'm gonna try to scrounge up some dough for the coils then sell some junk on ebay for money to pay for installs.
