I recently inquired with a vendor on eBay regarding tranny cooler kits they were offering for LS1, LS2 applications.

Seemed to be a nice product with large cooler and ss braided lines. This is the repsonse I received back from them:

I would have to have a TBSS here to get an exact replacement kit made. My kit with the cooler will replace all of the factory stuff.
I do offer the adapters and such but I would need detailed info to get you the exact parts you need to be used with your existing setup.

Thanks,

Derek Dawson

I sent a response back to him stating:

I would offer this suggestion, I think you could sell a lot of kits for the 2006-2007 Trailblazer SS if you were to develop one.
The reasons are:
1. lot of people modding these vehicles for more hp
2. transmission appears to be weak link in drivetrain
3. popular mod is higher stall converter and cooler is almost a must
4. apparently the factory cooler is integrated into the radiator and it sucks
5. factory lines for tranny cooler use quick disconnects and a lot of people do not like cutting factory lines

If you are serious about making a kit for these trucks, then please visit Trailvoy.com This is a web forum for Trailblazers and you can see the potential for business on there (maybe even become a sponsor). I am sure someone on the forum who lives near your location would be more than happy to lend the use of his TBSS for development of a good mod like this. I will post this message on the forum and see what kind of response it gets.

Let me know if you need any further info from me and hopefully this works out for you and us TBSS owners.

The location says Central Missouri so I might be able to do the testing for this depending on exactly where this guy is. Find that out and let me know. I'll do almost anything for some freebies :D .

No problem. He's in Columbia, MO, my old college town. I'll do the test fitting, but it might have to be done on a weekend

I just installed a B&M cooler in mine cutting the factory line....very simple & inexpensive. (Summitracing.com)

It would be really nice to have a kit specific to our TBSS's :)

I'd like a kit custom for my SS and with fittings and steel or braided line.
