I just bought a set of 22x9.5 and was thinking of going with a 285/35/22 up front and maybe a slightly wider and slightly taller tire in the rear, to give it that raked, high performance look. Or maybe going with a 265/40/22 front and a 285/35/22 rear. What do you all think? Mismatch the tires or go the same size all the way around? I have always liked the look of a vehicle with slightly wider tires in the rear, like old muscle cars!

Do whatever you want, just remember the rolling size has to be really, really close to the same if you have 4WD otherwise it will bind up really bad.

I'm no expert but I'm thinking that a circumference difference could shorten the life of your drivetrain if you run it in 4x4 mode.

If the circumference is the same, go as wide and skinny as you want to, just watch the offset so the tires don't rub on the suspension or the fenders.

His is 2wd. I like the 4x4 look myself, but if you're going for 22's, I say keep the tires all the same size. :m2:

Thanks guys. I believe I'm just going to go with the same size all the way around. Thanks again for your suggestions.:)
