I think this is the first thread admitting defeat. Get a tune, then get back out there!

Turbo, AWD, and tiny. What did you expect to happen? Get a tune, and race him downhill....

Sorry to hear that, but those things are flat out quick!! If you were to race it up a hill, I doubt there would be any problem beating the crap out of it as the SS would drop into 2nd (if below 85mph) and then just pull away.
I surprised an older Porsche about 15min ago when I pushed down on the gas (didnt even have to floor it) and downshifted into 2nd. Pulled away from him pretty fast! Dont think he was really expecting that to happen!:D

I ruined a 3.2 a while back, not sure what happened. I guess the 1.8t was modded

I can't believe it. When I had a 99 firebird Formula I destroyed one of those by at least 6 car lengths. I would think the SS will beat that car. He must have been modded.

"The 2006 Audi TT 1.8 T also is available as a 225-hp model featuring a close-ratio, six-speed manual transmission and Audi quattro all-wheel drive. The 225-hp engine has a peak torque of 207 lbs. ft. across a range of 2,200-5,500 rpm, sprinting the 225-hp TT Coupe from 0-60 mph in 6.0 seconds. A similarly equipped TT Roadster moves from 0-60 mph in 6.2 seconds."
Found that by searching on the car's spec's. Sounds like the guy you raced was heavily modded, or you weren't trying very hard. :x

We traded our VW Jetta 1.8T on our new blue TBSS. The jettta's 1.8 (same as the Audi's) can be made to really sing with simple programming. Ours had just a tune done to run at 1.0 bar pressure and could hang with a buddy's 05 Mustang GT - if I could ever launch with the front wheel drive! They do make kits to take the 1.8's into the 325 (flywheel) hp range. Get a good launch on these guys and you won't have a problem. That Audi would have to have a lot of mods - they aren't the lightest car either.

Found out it was an AWD 1.8 turbo with 20lbs of boost. Insane fast. I gave it everything I had. Well...at least now I know my SS's limits..

Limits are meant to be broken. :D Get to modding that thing.
