:undecided I haven't field tested this yet but the idea looks great on paper! You know that little breather nipple on the intake tube that a vent hose from the valvecover goes to? Well disonnect that. Run the air hose from the onboard compressor through the fire wall and use the attachment that will blow air into the intake tube. Attact the other end to the compressor, turn it on, pressurize your intake and make your pass cuz now you're roll-in wit RAM-AIR assist homey!!!

LOL .. okay, is this a joke ?

What do you do with the valve cover tube ?

About the only thing you will do is burn up your compressor motor running it constantly - which will shut off as soon as it gets hot.

Your valve cover breather is connected to the intake tube for a reason.

There is no way possible to make Boost with the onboard air compressor .. your engine pulls way more Vaccuum than your compressor will ever boost. You would need a Compressor that can actually Pressurize your Intake, for example, a Supercharger or Turbo.

O my god...Someone please tell me that I didn't just read this...

Don't forget to get one of those "Tornado" intake thingys...You should gain another .10 or so.......

Don't forget to pour some bottled water in the line for your water injection.

i think it would be better to drill and tap a hole directly into the manifold , so u can inject the air more directly:crazy: a 3/4 " hole ought to do it.:x

Why don't you just run your intake right off your air conditioner... I'm sure the strain of the condenser is over weighed by the benefit of a cold air shot.

Great idea!
The A/C on high speed would be like an intercooler = .10th more.
CHEAP HORSEPOWER!!!

Wow..this thread is as good as my proposed "rubber mask"....silicone on front end of TBSS..to protect from chips.

However, I am open to the prospect of an electric leaf blower connected to the mass air adding about a tenth in the quarter. Am I correct in assuming this?

Only in small hondas and stuff. V8s pull WAY too much air and the leaf blower would just become a restriction. That has only been proven with a GAS leaf blower BTW, caz they move more air.

Where are the results? Field test it already!! ClutchNThrottle, If I try it will you buy my a new engine, if I blow it?

But seriously, the colder the air the better? I found this thing shaped like a teardrop that you install in the intake and pass nitrogen through it or something...

its co2 and it works gr8 with intercoolers:)

Thanks for the info computernerd.

I do however have a question:

What's more conducive for making more horsepower...
1.Cold Air?
2. Dry Air?

In other words, would you prefer to go to the track on a very cool day, BUT, with much humidity(which is basically fine/misty water droplets suspended in air, which is detrimental to spark/combustion cycle) Or, would you prefer a fairly warm day coupled with extreme dryness(which is great for lighting a flame/spark/combustion cycle)

Cool damp day. Not much moisture will make it to the combustion chamber and will be negligible. Warmer day = less dense air and possible loss of timing.

I am doing that right after I run my washer fluid line into the throttle body, now I just have to take my wipers off so I don't scratch the windshield without the fluid when I "Spray" my SS:undecided ...

i just tried it, it works great! i just put some bath and kitchen caulking inside the valve breather to keep it contained. ill let you guys know the dyno results this friday! i cant wait....best mod ever feels like a real cold air intake plus a supercharger all at once without having to deal with a intercooler!!!!

What brand brand of Flux Capacitor did you have in there?
