what kind of tires came stock.?

on my 03, the stock BF Goodrich tires have been good to me... 83,000 and still going.
I think I have maybe 10K left.... I do typical city/highway. and occasional dirt roads.
but others here say their stock tires didnt last long....

tires lasting all depend on how you drive, where you drive, and how you maintain you car and tires. i have seen the cheapes tires last forever and at the same time seen the best go for 10k miles.
in closing just get the best tires you can afford and take care of them and your car and they will give you great service life.

I've had Firestone Destination A/T's on for about 12,000 miles and by far the best tire I've ever bought for the money. And at about 100 bucks per tire mounted it's hard to pass them up... read the reviews at tirerack.com

Firestone INDY 500's from TireRack.. Cost about 80.00 each..
Pretty quiet compared to the OEM Bridgestones --though possibly because this has new treads vs the worn out Bridgestones. Handling's ok. Reviews said it was better than OEM.. I'm not sure abou that.
500+ miles on them so far.

I did'nt, and have 4 kids to prove :)

The OEM Michelin's on my 05 Envoy V8 are very nice I think, not exactly performance rubber, but whisper quiet ride and handle OK.
