I got the game this past weekend and I must say that I am amazed.

My 9 year old son bought an $850 lap top so he can play it in his room and when I travel with him. I tried the game and I just can't understand where the fun comes in. Its not like your driving a car or flying a plane. He is playing every night. Luckily he is top in his class for marks.

Hey does anyone know if the new WarCraft requires a monthly on line fee. I refuse to pay an on line monthly fee so my son is playing WarCraft III and Frozen Throne.

My friend plays it all the time ... I think she's hooked on it. She wanted me to try it. I'm not into RPG games, but I might give it a shot.

Ok I'm planning on getting the kid the new upgrade to World of War Craft. I bought the trial DVD of this game because from what I understand I have to buy the World of Warcraft full version and then the new expansion pack that is released Jan 16.

Problem:

1 Port forwarding, I read and read on this issue. What is the IP address for the WofW? Ports 3274 , 6881-6999 opened.


Updates: The damn laptop has been updating and patching this game for hours.

Windows firewall reconfigured.

Got it working this morning a 3 am. Signed in for one minute then signed out and went to bed. Tried again at 10:30 am this morning it went into patch mode again and now I can't sign in.

The WofWC server had problems with last nights new patch. Figures I would try and install it last night. All is working and I now see the addiction. This is cool.....I should let my son play some time..Nothing like the original game...
