Ok, I have been asked to start a poll reguarding this meet. I will be happy to.
The info is as follows:
The date is June 18, 2006
Time: 9 am until
Place: Poinsettia Park

On a side note.. the wife just got in her first accident with the 06 TB LT. He missed a red light and a Prius broadsided her. Totalled the Prius. Took out both passenger side doors on the TB. Doesn't appear to be any shell or frame damage. Just the doors. Lucky I guess. All of 2500 miles on the thing. :(

Actually, as we communicated in another thread, you have the only 'TBSS' license plate...I decided to forego my chance at the plate because - well, it wouldn't be a sleeper if it had 'SS' on the plate now, would it?
Course, I could have ordered it and held it for ransom. :cool:

I'm guessing by the lack of description of any hurt to your wife means that she is okay. That is the most important thing. :yes:

I'll probably be up there by 12 or 11 the earliest.....the park is kind of secluded, but it is a Community park, so there will most likely be other families out that day....I plan on taking a trip to the park this Monday or Tuesday to stake out the area and maybe find a nice area to pitch up tent on the 18th:D

Having 10 trucks is a great turn out. Last time we met it was the four of us( Andrew, Steve,Jay, and myself). The time before that i beleive it was only 3. My point is, it has to start somewhere. We have great ideas and they are slowly comming together. It takes time to build a great event. Not to long ago there was a show here called Truck Jam. I know it was a great success. But i also know that they have been doing it for atleast 15 years.
So, brother KAyCee, Instead of saying "If this is a small turn out for June 18, lets reset the date" , how about saying, " I want to meet some of my TrailVoy Brothers-in-Arms" and lets enjoy each others rides, some good food, and of sourse, a little B.S. :p
Aways remember, you take out what you put it. :thumbsup:

Thanks to TrailVoy.com On a side not KayCee, we have been putting this together for about a month or so :yes: . It would be ashame to see all our members hard work go down the drain :( . From finding spots (Steve), making list (items to bring everyone involved), contacting poeple (everyone involved), now I understand you joining in a little late but "Be There or Be Square :D ." If not there will always be other meets :yes: . When I first got started I think I missed 2 meets before the fun began :o . Now it's like the mod bug (When you see something you want, gotta have it), just gotta be there :woot: .

Its up to you brotha. Jay is bringing the Chicken links, Steve is bringing Hot Links and Carne Asada and his grill. As for me, i'm bringing the Chicken, soda, and cups. Not to mention my new grill. :D If you want to, you can bring what you brought last time or just look at the list on the other thread and get some things from there. Or heck, just bring more meat.

well first let me say welcome back kaycee, second, it doesn't really matter how many people turn out, it's just a time to get to meet our fellow Trailvoy members, whether it's 1, 2 or 20 (which would be nice:D ), but when I had my first meet with OurZoo, it was great to meet someone with something in common (Trailvoy) and talk about other things and make a good friend, and I've enjoyed every meet I been to from dntnvme to our meet at Puddington lake, with OurZoo, dntnvme and jjsryd (which was just 4 of us) so we haven't had any big meets, but it was fun to get together, I understand not everyone can make it, I've missed some too, but we always manage to work something out for those that miss out, eventually we will have a meet that will be able to have all the socal members show up :woohoo: , but until that comes, we just try to have fun and get together with those that we can. I think that's why we've been successful in socal, because we understand each others situations and work around them....now this meet is way beyond what I expected and I'm happy:woot: , too be able to have even 10 guys show up, is an accomplishment for the socal group, so don't worry if you can't make this one, there will be others and we can always work something out with ya:D ....I plan on making a trip up north probably within the next month or so (to visit with some of the wifes fam) and I'm going to try and maybe meet with some of the norcal members (which I will be fun, even if I get to meet one:yes: )

I was thinking the same thing....hey if some of us get there early enough, we would have enough spots.....all we need (as of now) is 5 guys to get there early and take two spots, that would be enough for 10 of us:D

I'll try to get there as early as possable (can we say 95 on the freeway? :D ). i'll spread out the TB as much as possable to hold maybe 3 spots. I know that there will be others there also early so they can help. Tomorrow i will make signs saying "TRAILVOY" so people will know where we are going to park.
On the same note, I just bought the cups today so all i have to do is buy the wings. :thumbsup:

:woot: cool.....well I just got back, took a few pics....if you guys want, I can reserve a spot at the park for us, it's $15 an hr (min of 3 hours) which has a table and grill, or we could just get an open grass area (no charge, open to the public, first come, first serve) the table and grille area will only be first come first serve basis if there are no special events and the table and grille area is not reserved for any reason, the charge is really only to guarantee a spot regardless of what is going on in the park, so if we don't reserve, whoever gets there early enough find a non reserved spot....hey JJ no need to make any signs for the park itself, it's really easy to get to the parking lot, only 2 ways to go once you turn into the park (right or left), everyone just needs to go right and follow the small road to the parking lot, plenty of parking as long as we get there early enough, in the pics there is a row of parking by the soccer field, a row of parking by the tennis court and rows of parking down the center, once again whoever gets there first, can just pick a row:D...pics are not that great, had to use my phone

If you guys need a dusty, muddy, not regularly washed off-road works-for-food-or-fuel Envoy to laugh at, I could drop by. I might even throw some precious water at it to get off the worst of the dust. :cool:
Also have an EZ-up sun shelter and a few chairs. I haven't read all the thread yet - everybody bringing their own collapsable chairs?

Just as a refresher. Some of us are going to be there around 8:30ish I should be there around 8 to hopefully find a table that is not reserved. Roadie, your sun-shelter will be perfect. Yes, you can bring your chairs. I know that we are bringing ours. Now there are going to be 2 grills. Mine and Steve's.

Looks like if I can make it it will only be a short stay, I have a couple of other things that have come up that I need to be present for. So I won't be able to bring a table after all, unless someone wants to volunteer to take custodianship of it after I leave....:confused:

I bought a car stereo so I can at least have some new mod, but the idiots at circuit city sold me the wrong car kit. :hissy: So im gonna go out and look for the kit that I need. Sounds like its going to be a great day tomorrow. I wanted to paint my wiper cowl but i realized that i need a pulley to remove the arms, so thats going to have wait till next week. I just finnished putting some buttons on the roof to cover the holes and color matched them. I'm heading out to do a few things and even get us a table(something that will fit inside the truck). I'll be washing the TB tonight and even give it a coat of wax. I'm trying to think right now if i need anything(if you see smoke this way its comming from my ears cause i'm thinking to hard...:D ).
well, if idont talk to anyone this afternoon, have a safe trip and will see you all tomorrow..

Printing a trailvoy.com banner for the sun shade now, and getting some desert pics onto the tablet PC for passing around. Also bringing the 2004 factory shop manual in case anybody's curious about their systems or wiring diagrams.

For me that would be a couple of hours. Unfortunately, the 115 mi drive at like 75-80mph will probably undo quite a bit on the way down. The inside however should still be beautiful. Hell, I'm bringing some towels and detail stuff with me. BTW Roadie, I'm pretty psyched to see your mods and your command center (with tablet and all).

Hey guys.. sorry I haven't checked in. We're almost ready for the meet tomorrow. The TB SS is all waxed up and purdy.
I'll be bringing TWO EZ-ups.. one 10x10, one 10x12, so we'll have plenty of shade regardless of where we end up. I also have a 4 foot folding table that I'll bring. We're also going to bring a chilled watermellon and some other fresh goodies.
Not sure what time we're heading out... perhaps 8 am? I think it's about an hour and a half drive from the South Bay of LA if I'm not mistaken. Anyone interested in a caravan down the 405/5?

Well people, I just bought 12 lbs of wings (KFC never saw it coming :D ). The TB is loaded and ready to travel. I got 11, 2 liter sodas, so i dont think we are going to be thirsty. I wanna thank everyone who is going to be out there tomorrow on making this a great event as always. To those who could not make it, no worries, there are going to other get-together soon.

And GPS-driven moving Topo maps? Oh, and I got an Autotap interface in case anybody wants to see real time data bus parameters on their cars. I bought the audio adapter to get PC sound into the Bose, but it didn't arrive today, so that's a mod that will have to be viewed next time. Finally glued down the rear door weatherstripping with some gorilla snot. Anybody else's weatherstripping loose? I'll bring the tube anyway.
Oh, and with my camping stuff, I can make real perked coffee in case anybody arrives sleepy from working on their cars all night. :sleepy:

I already have the park loaded into the NAV system. 89 miles drive distance. Hmmm.. about 40 minutes drive time I'm figuring. :D

Well, I hit some serious traffic on the way home. Why???? B/c it's freakin Los Angeles I suppose. People need to keep their feet on their accelerators and not the brakes, duh! I just got out of the shower. 30 SPF was no challenge for the sun on my fair skin. The nice tank top farmers burn is starting to settle in. I had a great time with you guys. The food was excelente. Thank you for showing up to everyone that was there. For everyone that wasn't, I'm gonna kick your a**. Nah just kidding, but I really hope you all do show next time. Time always goes by way too fast.:mad: I'll have to see if any of my pics turned out better than yours did. If so, I'll post 'em. Roadie, next time I wanna see your toys in the cabin. :yes:

Tammy and I had a great time! As has already been said.. but is worth saying again... great people.. no.. make that great FRIENDS!, great food, great conversation, great fun, great weather... and last but certainly not least.. great RIDES! Those who missed it, missed a fantastic gathering.
We're looking forward to future gatherings. Hopefully Tammy will have her TB (aka Prius Killer) there too!
Now... down to buisness. We need to start a care fund for JJ's new import ride so Lisa can get her hands on the TB! :P

Well, we just got home and let me tell you that we also got alot of traffic. It took us an extra 45 mins in time. I wanna thank everyone that came out and really made it a great time. Sorry we missed everone who didnt make it out, but you guys really missed out on a great BBQ. :drool: We were hoping on more people to show up but even with 7 trucks, the day was perfect.
I arrived at 8am and was the only person in the entire park. So i scoped out the perfect place so we were right next to the playground, restrooms, and the trucks.
Roadie, your set up really rocks. I can honestly say that it rivals NASA anytime of the week and twice on Sunday. :D
TB SS was the only SS out there. but it was really kewl to pop the hood open and drool over an LS2. :drool:
Scott took his son and both of them are really kewl.
Jay brought out the family and the world famous links. YUMMMMYY!!!!
Andrew came alone but he was full of TrailVoy spirit.
Steve came a little late but as soon as he got there he busted out his Fire and Ice and started to grill Hot Links and Carne Asada. More YUM!!
Well people, thats about it for now from me. I know that Jay will chime in as soon as he gets home so i will let it at that.
A far as another meet, thats still up in the air a bit but i think its going to be in Aug. That will give everyone time to do a few mods before the next meet. The idea was kicked around about maybe this time doing it a little more north and have some of the northern brothers come this time. That anouncment will come soon.

Well since the pic's have been posted I will not post :no: , but I will comment on the event :D . Let's talk about brotherly love and Trailvoy spirit :yes: . The unity was there and the tight rides were too :yes: . Paul it was a pleasure caravaning up there with you this morning. Yes I followed a SS but stayed close enough to be seen. Reaching speeds of 110mph, until our wives figured it out :yes: . The meet was awesome, can't wait until the next one. Roadie, Scott, and paul thank you for coming out :thumbsup: . You other cats already know..... For those of you who were supposed to show but didn't :o , my wife thanks you for the links we brought home :D .

I don't know if there are any military people here but duty is 24 hours. So basically... 0630 - 0630. :sleepy: I was mad tired! Knew I'd probably sleep once I got there (about a 2 hour drive there... 4 hours back depending on traffic) lol!
No excuse... it's the reason I didn't make it. NEXT TIME THOUGH! Especially if it's in August! I leave for 6 months in Sept.

Well it was a pleasure meeting with everyone and their families, we had a great time (even though I was late:o , I just had too many things to take care of around the house and backyard before leaving, thought I would be able to get evrything done quick since I woke up at 5am, maybe I should have had my coffee right from the canister:laugh: )...but it was really nice to meet some new members (Paul, Bill, and Scott) these are some stand-up hombres and good friends:) , hope we can get together again, and to the 3 amigos (you know who you are:p ) always a nice time to get together with you guys, we have to remember to get that football game going next time, but I got to :drool: over an SS (sorry Paul but I wiped it up:p :D ) and I was amazed by the Roadie's gadgets and adventure gear, he truly is an offroad Guru:yes: ...well we need to start working on our next meet (July and August), so lets get those ideas and suggestions going:D
