Hi all,
Just joined and have to say this site looks great! I even recognize some of you from other forums. Last Sept. I bought a 2002 Envoy SLT with 49,000 miles. It's sandalwood metallic, which is sort of a bronze--same color as my avatar.
When I was looking to replace my '93 S10 Blazer last summer I placed the GMT360 trio (TrailBlazer / Envoy / Bravada) at the top of my list. I'm a GM fan but I did shop the competition such as the Explorer/Mountaineer, Pathfinder, etc. My mind was set on the Envoy though and almost by chance I stumbled on one at the local GMC dealer. One owner, locally-owned, and I noticed right away was how clean it was; it looked like new inside and out. It had all the options I wanted and was priced right. A nice long test drive sealed the deal.
So far it's been an absolute pleasure to drive, esp. in snow. I'm at 62,000 miles now and it's been reliable. There's been a couple of minor issues like a wandering power mirror and leaking front axle seal, but nothing serious. Love it so far!
