rumor has that B-M is making a shifter that will have a gate for manual up shiftes 1-2-3-4 and downshift the same way-useing the stock one that way is very bad ---anyone have any info---:(

Will it work for the 5.3L too or no?

if there is one it should bolt up the same . just without the tc button.

Because people think that they can shift better than their electronically controlled automatic transmission.

I love a good ole 5-6 speed manual but I know there is no way I could ever shift faster or more consistantly than a high performance auto. Manual downshifting is nice but I wouldn't risk it with this tranny just yet.
