this is in the race section of ClubGP..
Erskine raced one the other night for 100$ and beat him by a car and the SS had a 2 car lauch!!!

He only had TOGs,3.4, DHP,4in FWI, 3 in exhaust


yup its true, and we got it on tape to tony, so u can quit deney that a tbss got owned


and for the record, i dont think he would of slowed down and lose a 100 bucks

and we went a full 1/4 too


here's his mods, to a 2000 GP GTP 3.8 Supercharged..
2005- 1/4 14.2(2.0 60') with just an K&N
new mods for 2006
togs with 3"exhaust, dhp, 3.4 mps, autolite 104s, zzp t/b, zzp mounts, 4in fwi
2006-1/4 13.7 at 101

I find it extremely difficult to believe, A) because who says "I'll race you for a $100" in the real world, out on some street somewhere????
B) if he got a "2car jump" no way should he lose to a car that only went 13.7 @101 at the track....NO WAY! hopefully whoever this is in the SS belongs to the forum cause this kid says he has a Video of it...

The guy is bull****ing. Why would the SS brake if he was racing for a $100.00? It seems like it was a half decent race but I think the SS would win.

there's the shortcut, you guys be the judge, it looks like the 2WD SS is ahead by a fender or so and brakes before the GTP??

i can't tell anything with that video, except that it looks pretty darn close when they pass the camera.

I watched it a few times and paused it right as they passed the camera, the TB SS was ahead by about a bumper, but it should have kept pulling and beat that other car.

And, I bet that SS was completely stock too, that and being AWD would be the only possible way it could lose to GTP.

I find this extremely hard to believe, but if they would like to redo that race and get a halfway decent cameraman at the finish line where it counts, then I might be more interested.

I asked him if they would race again, which I doubt he will seek him out as he would probably lose..again...we'll see if he answers me...GOD I wish I could run him and show him how it's done...Dam, if you guys race these trucks, run them like I do PLEASE!!!! Leave the line at about 1800 and GO and don't let off until you're over 100 or guys like this will swear they won, and post it on a forum where they have 20k+ members..thank God some of them Own TBSS's and know there's some BS'ing going on..

if u look at the lights on the ground u can tell the ss is in front!and from that angle i cant tell if the ss had a 2 car launch on him. No way the ss lost
