    Thank you SO much for the info on the bird chirp, I'm getting ready to sell my 2000 Grand Marquis LS and had been getting the "chirp" more and more frequently, thought it might be a wheel bearing or something, followed your advice and lubed up the stops on the hood, it's now super silent. GREATLY appreciate you sharing that idea, I NEVER would have thought of that in a million years. GOD bless you! QUOTE: If it seems to happen when you are going over small bumps check your hood stops. They screw in and out to press tight against the hood. Sometimes the squeaking might be created by the hood stops rubbing against the underside of the hood. A little dab of lithium grease will cure that. If it's engine related, I don't know what to tell you...but good luck.
