A Pillar trim removal?

HI again gang!

So I have more ideas about installing switches for my lighting. I will be adding switches to a replacement overhead console as indicated in another thread.

In doing that, I will need to remove the "A" pillar trim piece on the interior to assist in running the wires. Thank you to Gordinho80 for a great little how-to that even I can manage. But here's my question..........

His TB is a 2002 (I think) WITHOUT side air bags. My 2006 has side impact air bags. Will the "A" pillar trim remove the same way, or are there air bag components in the A pillar on the 2006 models? I know for a fact that the air bags are in the B pillar, not the seats like some TB's are. I just don't know how they work or where else may be necessary for them to work properly.

I don't want to go ripping stuff off if there's the possibility of sensitive components being under there

Thanks!
Chris
