Whoatttt?? I live in Florida, today the temps drop to low 30's. I hop in my Envoy start it and it tells me "Ice Possible" freaking me out, but its something pretty cool I just learned about my Voy.
Yeah, it was cold when we were in Tampa too..came home friday and had to have the snow drift plowed from our driveway..
Did you hear about the 27 car pileup in Atlanta?
That happened just after we went through there on the way home..
Had to stop south of Chattanooga cus the roads were sheet of ice.
Here is a pic from our hotel (on a steep hill)the next morning.
I think it's kinda funny. I still have some Chicago blood left in me, so although it's cold outside, I don't think it's too bad. I remember the days of digging my car out after the plows pushed snow up into the drive way, or worse when parking on the street. So I'll take FL 'winters' any day.
Although I did have a moment the other day... Walked out to the truck and there was a good bit of ice on all the windows. Windshield wiper fluid wasn't doing a thing, and I haven't owned a scraper in 10 years, so had to use my key card from work!
Got the 'Ice Possible' message this morning too....first I'd ever seen that. Although I'm ready to return to the 70's for the 'winter' it has been kind of 'fun' (let the bashing begin...lol) to be able to use the heated seats the past few days...hahaha
AGREED! We had 2 feet of snow Dec 11th and mounds are still here, and plenty of salt left on our roads. Not to mention it hasn't been about 32 in about 5 days. :hissy:
Welcome to the club. I get the damn message every day when I back out the garage here in Maryland!
