Repair rear window defroster wire

I have 07 SS and the wire that appears "soldered" to rear tailgate glass came off. Does anyone know if this can be repaired? Anyone done it?

I live in MI and will need my defroster pretty soon.

Had the same thing happen to mine. I used a clear epoxy I bought at walmart to repair it. works fine.
