2003 trailblazer LT surge issues

About a month ago I had issues my trailblazer, with reduce power. Went to a shop and got a new throttle body. Thought that would solve all my issues, which it did until I made about a five hour road trip. After the trip my engine started to surge, only when the ac/heat was on. Along with that my rpm gauge has been stuck on 0 for about a month.
I am about to take it to get looked at again, but first I wanted to see what yall thought.
Thanks.
