Blower motor wont turn off or chnge speeds

Hey all,
The blower motor won't shut off on my '04 Envoy SLT.
I have to pull the fuse, because it will continue to run after vehicle is shut off.
Is it the resistor as well? Or is it something more?

Thanks

Joining the blower resister club - auto digital ?

Looks like our blower resister pack is going out on our 2004 XUV w/ the digital auto control.
Fan quit blowing completely then while my wife cycled it on and off it started blowing but will not ramp up in fan speed pass the medium speed.

Is the following ACDelco 15-80567 correct for a 2004 Envoy XUV w/ digital auto?
http://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-15-805...ule+2004+envoy

Another Question: I've never cared for the automatic HVAC control; seems like it will not 'blend' the temperature; either blows cold or hot, never a blend - very frustrating and has always been this way.

Is this normal for the digital auto system?
If not, anything else to look at?
If this is normal, is possible to 'easily' swap the control a manual system?

Thanks,
Steve

2004 Trailblazer EXT Rear blower works sometimes

Took it to the dealership and they wanted $850 to replace the auxiliary blower resistor. Does anybody know where this is located? I took apart the rear passenger side where the rear blower is located and I could not find a resistor. I replaced the front resistor under the glove box last year.

Please help we are driving to Florida from Texas in 2 days.

Once again, the TrailVoy forum has saved me hundreds of dollars.
I replaced the resistor 2 years ago when I lost speeds 1-3 on my a/c.
7 days ago, the a/c quit blowing on all speeds. It would work for a few seconds and quit for a day or two. Then work for a few seconds and quit again.
After removing the blower motor, I found two halves of a pecan hull, several dead leaves and some chewed up insulation.
I also removed the vent tube from the motor housing and used compressed air to blow out all the gunk, cleaned the armature with a pencil eraser and adjusted the brushes best I could.
Reinstalled the blower motor and started my TB.
To my surprise, the blower worked on all 5 speeds.
Took a total of 30 minutes including the cleaning and reinstall.
Thanks again to ALL contributors to this forum.

So my fan is now only working on a very low speed (I have the Auto Temp Control) when I crank up the fan speed on the manual control for the fan it stays at that same low speed. I ordered a new resistor pack based on what I have read here but did not see any mention of what wires will need to be spliced from the old harness to the new harness. I see from my research that with the ATC I will need to splice in some wires, anyone know which ones???

PS, Ive been looking for a while and could find no mention of the wires to splice so if I messed it and it was right in front of me I apologize for wasting time.

Late to add: I ordered ACDelco 15-81773 which was described as a direct fit application.

Turned out the blower motor was shot. Picked up for $15 at local auto salvage and all is good! Also bought an extra module for $10 out of the car as well.

I just replaced the resistor, and its still not working. the old resistor was corroded and definitely bad. Any ideas what would be causing the problem?
