How long till one is available for purchase and a final price on it? Will it come with bolts, gaskets and everything needed for direct install? I probably will not be doing the repair till spring, so I have some time. How does PCM of NC go about the "new tune".
Thanks for any answers you have.

We are very busy in R&D with work, our engineers did not like the flange design and made a change the new ones are now here. We are also building 2 sets of headers one that we keep here for reference and to build the fixture, the other final set so Joe's truck. the tune and Dyno time will be up to PCM of NC as to when they can get it on their Dyno.

They are designed to be a factory manifold replacement. If you get the Ultra Performance Cat you will not get an engine light for catalyst low efficiency. you can contact PCM of NCfor the information on the tune.

That was why our engineers redesigned the first flange, the one on our headers will fit early and late head design. So there is one part number and no issues of getting a mismatch part for the head on your truck.

Wow you have been handling tech support for 15 months and you just now decide to post. If I remember correctly you are the guy who looks like an anorexic Mr. Clean. I meet you at the Kooks Car show last year. I was the one asking about headers for my SS and you couldn't stop telling me how poor of a platform the Trail Blazer was and that it would never handle a blown LS motor. What you didn't know is that I was looking for a supplier for my shop. I remember you boasting about how qualified you were and then you continued to talk and I can't believe you are certified to work on anything. I then took the tour of the factory lead by a young man and came back to ask you a couple more questions about emissions and SES light issues I have had in the past with high performance exhaust and you basically said that was because your competitors use junk and Kooks products don't have that issue. I left very frustrated that you were too arrogant to even try to answer any questions I had or even bother to ask who I was. I left and contacted George at you competition and was treated with respect and have been very happy with his company. I have been watching this thread for a few months now because I am buying another TrailBlazer that has an I6 and will be supercharging it so I am interested in the header design but if I have to deal with you I think I may have to build my own.
If anyone thinks I am just bashing Drew go to yellowbullet.com and search drew and kooks and read for your self! This site has been a big help to me during the build of my SS and I could not sit back and let this go with out letting the members here know who they are dealing with, I would hope that Kooks would let someone else handle this for them, and I would like to see his certifications and see that they are current before I would let him touch anything of mine.

Fitment looks good, but what is it made of? Will this pass an emissions test? Is there a full exhaust system? And what kind of numbers did it make? You say this is a bolt on kit so everything that is needed is included Correct.

They are made of 304 Stainless Steel. Obviously this is the prototype truck so to confirm it will pass emissions is hard to say at this point. With the success of our Ultra High Performance EPA Certified Cat, on other vehicles there should be no issues with passing emissions. The truck is still here getting finished up now those pictures were from late Friday afternoon. One of the manifold bolts had broken upon removal and had to be drilled before the header went on permanently. I will try to get the finished pics up ASAP.
