Growl whiny noise at cold start up

Hello I have a 07 envoy Denali 5.3 on start up t sounds like a loud whine or grinning noise or bering while standing in front of grill. It's not the fan noise engaging even when it heats up noise is still there but not as loud had the water pump done 2 times not the problem and the pulley replaced too along with the tension one also. At a loss thinking my be fan clutch going. Not sure need help maybe Bering but where, truck is in excellent shape garage kept 65000 miles please help you guys are so knowledgeable. Thanks.

I had my air conditioner clutch/pulley bearings go out and make a bad noise. If you can get your AC to come on and it goes away, that would be the problem (although my AC compressor won't kick in when it is less than 60 degrees outside, or something like that so it might be difficult to troubleshoot in the winter depending on your location unless you can get it inside). My shop changed the bearing - they didn't have to change the compressor, so the system didn't have to be emptied and recharged .... much cheaper also.

Thanks I ran it today with no belt on comp still has noise still up in the air what it could be.

Solved

Had fan couch done by dealer under warranty sound is gone.
