Rear climate control issue

I have a 2003 Trailblazer Ext. The rear climate control only blinks at me when I push the buttons. Any ideas?

I have been contemplating on this my 02 Voy XL SLT since I got it last week of March this year.
Anybody would like to shine a light on this?

I have figured out how to make it work (my user manual says how to), tho.
We should have it (rear climate control) on "R" on the center front console by the shifter... Then, we can control the rear CC separately thru it's knob/buttons - I dunno Abt you, but I have an LCD for the rear radio control and the RCC. Remember that it's going to base its temp from the front passenger's temp unless you press the up/dwn fan speed and +/- for the temp.
Try it and hope it's gonna solve your "blinking" = not permitted because you have it on override, if you've turned the knob to 1-3 instead of R. Pointing the knob to R means you're letting rear passengers have their control over their climate thru the Rr CC.
