Wallmart Dexron VI & Power Flush

So got a dumb question looking to flush the tranny and replace filters seen wally world has Supertech Dex VI. Has anyone used this and had any trouble with there trannies ?

I thought Dex VI was standard and whether its in a wally world package or a Mobile 1 package its all has to meet the DEX VI standard ???

Second Dumb question: I was also thinking to take it to AAMCO and have them do a "Power Purge" and have them flush the tranny.
I. read through the forums and people are stating in high mileage vehicles that getting a trans, flush done causes particles to get to dislodge and could cause trans to fail. Many state there tranny failed shortly after a Power Flush..... any thoughts on this ?

Ive been wanting to do a power flush, but then again people on the street and a close relative of mine (works at rudolph honda) said the same thing. Particles come loose and causes transmissions to fail. im just gonna do a drain and fill. (along with filter kit)

When you say "Drain and Fill" do you mean dropping the pan changing the filters and refilling.

Or draining through the cooler line and refilling ?

Sorry im handy with a screwdriver just not on vehicles

Anything that's officially licensed by GM for Dexron VI is good to go.

I'm not a fan of flushing machines though. Might want to do a cooler line flush instead without hooking up a machine.
