Exclamation Replace my tranny!

My parents gave me their envoy 2003, the catch...
need to replace tranny, i bought one from spaldings in spokane wa,
i got one from a 2003 trailblazer ive read it fits but now does anyone
out there know step by step how to replace it and give me a hand
b4 i start taking it apart?

Invest in a shop manual, you find it invaluable in doing the swap. But, before you connect the new unit, reverse flush the cooler lines. If you don't you'll hate yourself later, when you have to repeat the process. When transmissions blow a part, they tend to push debri and cr@p in the cooler assembly. If you just swap out the unit, you'll have all the debri and sludge from the blown unit flowing through the new unit.
