Recommend an inexpensive remote starter for me.

What System would you point me towards that in inexpensive and hooks up easy? All I want it to do is start it and thats it. I'll just turn on the heater before I park it. It would be nice if there was one that just plugs in or has a prewired harness for our Trailblazers. I wouldn't mind just using my OEM remote if possible also. I thought I read in another thread last year about a simple system that we could get the bypass and all for under $75.

It was around $100, it's hiding somewhere in the audio forum. I know because I posted it way back when.

I guess there is just too much information on this site. Even when someone KNOWS there is information, the have to post ANOTHER thread asking for a specific recommendation instead of searching and doing a little due diligence of their own.

Maybe we should set up a PFI forum (Pay For Information; sort of like Pay For View) for those that want to pay others to do their work for them.

I have had problems finding threads that I started myself. Sometimes the search engines just don't seem to cooperate. So...

I beleive you to be an asset to this site so I won't even try a witty comeback.

but I will say "THANK YOU" to MAY03LT I looked under your name in the Audio section and it was on the oldest thread on that search. Looks like I'll be able to get the starter w/bypass for about $65 and install myself.

Awesome, I knew it was floating around somewhere

Side note: A t-harness (gm-T9 iirc) will make splicing into the heavy gauge r/s leads a snap.

I was not tring to be a azz I just wanted to point out that the search engines dont always work. I am on alot of different sights and it seems everyone is always at each others throats for not searching and sometimes it is not the OPs fault.

Could you post a link to help anyone else who may come along and want this info too.
