Trailblazer SS vs. Rainier CXL AWD

Trying to determine if the transfer case on a 04 Rainier CXL AWD is the same as the trailblazer SS. So far Rockauto.com shows the same part numbers pointing back to a NV 226 transfer case. But from what I understand the awd TBSS got the NV 120 transfer case.

I don't know much about transfer cases but know there are differences between part time transfer cases with auto electric shifting when they detect slippage which is what I believe the nv 226 is and full time awd transfer cases like the viscous BW 4472 (typhoon/syclone) and the TBSS NV 120

Rockauto may not be a great source of data though, anyone know if the CXL awd rainier got the same nv 120 the TBSS got?

Somer further research shows an rp4 code which is awd and that then relates to the nv126 transfer case which is full time awd if I'm correct.

What's the difference between the tbss 120 and the 126?

Upon even further research both the nv226 and nv126 are active on demand transfer cases
