Thanks guys.
I have more to do, this was just to get me started.
The Pedals were easy to install, the only draw back is the gas pedal is wider than stock therefore have less room between pedals.
Once I got used to that they have been fine.
The debadging is on the list to include the stripping on the side and poss demolding the sides.
I forgot to mention the gas cap was a 5 minutes install.
The only draw back is the plactic lanyard that holds the gas gas has to be reinstalled somewhere else and I havent found a place to put it yet.
So now I just have to remember to put the cap on since I have to place it on top of the gas pump when I get gas.
I will be debadging next weekend with my fishing line on the rear.
Once I debadge I will upload pics.
I must say if your going to do it go all the way.
I should be looking pretty stout by Truck Nationals Day.
I am also lookiing to remove that ugly resinator soon once I figure out what to put in its place.
If you take the cap and keep the original piece of plastic that was holding it there and stick the plastic piece in the rubber inside the gas chamber area inside the gas cap. There is a rubber surround in the fueling area around the gas tube itself. It worked for me.
It's looking great. I removed my plastic strap for the gas cap. It was just a pain. Now I have to remember to put the cap back on before I close the door and lock it.
Truck looks good. I also thought I was looking at Tims truck. I have an OEM lockable gas cap and lost the ability to hang it as well. I just leave my keys in it when I unlock and put on the gas pump. There's no way to forget it as I can't start the truck without putting it back and locking it.
Also want to clear the air,
No copy cat hear, my cousin's setup on his toyota was where I got the idea I did thou look at comparisns to see if I could getum cheaper and or better looking.
But I guess thats why the site is alive so that we can share our designs and idea's incase someone is courious what it may look like,
I have more mods coming,
HALO Lights just arrived today (reorder since last ones were defective)
muffler
resinator change
lift kit
overhead DVD with head rests screens
Double Din Radio which will handle my GPS system, XM, DVD, and of course blue tooth.
And of course debadging which will be sometime before the show, not a hard job to do.
I will keep sending the pics as I complete these mods,
