Post Aftermarket Sub and Amp Help

Hey guys,
Ive got a 2009 envoy denali with bose, nav, and an overhead dvd player. I wanna put an aftermarket amp and a sub in the back. I plan on keeping the nav HU for now. Can anyone walk me through it, or more likely, point me to an existing thread that walks through my parameters? Do I have to use the aftermarket amp I have? Or is the Bose amp powerful enough to work the sub? If I do need to use my amp, does the Bose amp get bypassed completely? Do I need a LOC? Should I just jump into the rear speaker wires? Im good on hooking everything up (found that thread), just need some guidance on which parts to use. Any help is greatly appreciated.

So far. I haven't gotten any help either. No body replies. :/. I have an 08 denali envoy. About to install an aftermarket HU. My system is unamplified. I would suggest just staying with the factory amp and sub. Or your own amp, might need a voltage converter. From 12v to 5v.( that might be a ford thing only though) and then maybe replace the sub. Unless the ohms and wattage work
