Okay, my white LED lights have FINALLY come in today for my interior dome lights! So I go to install them! :woot:
So when I go to install them (in my 04 TBLS), I have all 4 push dome lights working, but the other 4 lights do not! :duh: I reversed the LED lights because I know that LEDs have to be put in one way and one way only. I even messed with the dome switch. I cannot get these 4 (or the cargo light) to turn on! Even locking and unlocking my door with the remote won't turn these lights on. They WERE working with the old bulb.
Any ideas?
On a positve note, I DO have the license plate LED lights switched out! LOOKS SEXY!
If you guys can help me out so that I can get the other lights working as well, I will get some pictures on here.

when you said you messed with the dome switch do you mean the brightness switch for the dash or the button we have to kill the lights when the door is open:undecided If you didn't press the switch try it, it kills the lights so they don't come on when the doors are opened.
I agree with the other on this thread. How did you upgrade them to the new LED's? One at a time or all at once. I would try sticking one or two of the old filament bulbs in and see if the old ones will light.
If they do light you are getting power to the dome lights and it is just a matter of reversing the LED's to get the rest to work.
If they don't light:
1) press the dome override button and see if that fixes it. At this point you will hopefully see some of the bulbs light go on including the couple of the old filament bulbs. Then reverse the ones that don't light.
2) if the dome override does not yield to any lights operating, check fuse#4 in the fuse box under the rear passeger's seat on the drivers' side. If the fuse looks blown, you will need to replace it with another 10A fuse.
Good luck trouble shooting. After you figure out the glitch, the glow of your new LED's will make it worth the effort.

GREAT NEWS! Changing out the fuse#4 has given me light! Even in broad daylight it looks amazing! Can't wait for tonight, i'll take some pics and get them posted on here.
Thank you for all your help! You guys are life savers!
I almost 100% sure that this is the result of a blown fuse. I did install them one at a time. In fact, the second I pulled the first "old" bulb out of one of the dome lights (not the push light), none of the other dome lights worked even though they all still had the "old" lights still in them. I even thought that maybe if one bulb didn't work, none did. So I switched the LED bulb around and still, none of them worked.
I'm going to check the fuse box today and let you guys know what I find.
BTW - I haven't tried searching for this yet as I just now thought about it - but has anyone posted a diagram of our fuse boxes on here? That could be really helpful! Just my :m2:
My first guess was the fuse as well espicially from your recent description. I have accidently shorted the a bulb out to metal during the installation which caused the fuse to blow. from my expirience fuse#4 is the one that blew on me. Let us know how you make out and when you solve the problem.
Edit: There is a diagram of the fuses on the fuse box cover.
Can you tell me where you ordered your lights from, and the part number? I had ordered some from http://www.frickinbrite.com/catalog/, but When I got them it wasn't what I expected. The ones I got are no brighter than a night light
No, No! THANK YOU GUYS! I am not a mechanic/gear head in the slightest bit. So when the lights didn't work, I would have been screwed if it wasn't for TrailVoy.com!!
you may need to put some load equalizers in there somewhere. this you may want to do if you keep blowing the fuse....
food for thought
