airbag light after fan clutch replacement

I just had the dealer replace my fan clutch a week ago. And now (150 mi later) my airbag light came on. Next time I started up the car the light was gone.

Did the light coming on have anything to do with the fan clutch work I had done last week?

Now that the light is no longer on, do I need to look into it at all? Or did it fix itself.

2002 Trailblazer, warranty is up... :duh:

nope...
manual says that if the light comes on- ok pay attentions.
if after restart of vehicle light is still on- then worry.

My light actually came on yesterday (on my 03) when I started it.
I turned it off- restarted and it was gone.

Over the past 5-6 yrs my airbag light has come on about 4 or 5 times- but each time Ive been able to restart and its gone.
About 4 of those times- I had just moved my seat.... I have the seat mounted side bags... so most likely that connection under the seat.
But its gone away and I dont worry about it

mine had gone on 4 a while and stayed on for about 2 days. some1 on here told me that the easy access seat going back and forth somehow loosens a wire or something. so i turned off that feature and it has never come on again. i dunno what it was but its strange
