My rear wiper seems to not quite be 100% there. Sometimes it works just fine, and other times i get nothing. I have checked the fuse and it is fine, and also i can't imagine the wiper motor is dead, cuz it works like i said some of the time...any help please?
Mine's the same way. Sometimes I flip the switch and it is fine, other times, nothing. I am starting to suspect the switch, though. The other day, it didn't shut OFF correctly, and kept operating until I turned the switch pretty hard to the OFF position.
Also, my rear washer doesn't work, which is the other reason I am suspecting the switch.
yeah, never had the issue of it not turning off, i really have no idea what it could be...the funny thing is, when it is raining it usually doesn't work, when it is dry...works fine...

The recall for the wiper motor was for the front wipers only. Water was getting into the motor and causing problems and is considered a safety issue. A rear wiper failure would not constitute a recall but a TSB. I had a Jeep GC rear wiper motor that went bad. The GC forum I belonged to had a writeup on how to fix it. It involved desoldering and soldering a circuit board. When the board was removed the problem was apparent. The entire unit was made in France. I know they are known for wine and cheese. But motors!
Well the reason the service guy suspected that it was the motor binding up was because i would turn on the switch, you could hear it turn on, but it wasn't going, but when you wen around back and gave it a little tap i would say just below the arm, but to the right a bit, it would kick on, but even on the highest speed it didn't seem like it had that much juice...
