Transmission wont go in gear

I bought a 2004 LS EXT trailblazer. Been running fine and shifting fine. Was driving about 20 mph then felt like I had no power truck was still running. I came to a stop pressed gas would not go but motor would rev up. I turned the truck off and back on then went in gear and driving fine.

Now 3 days ago wife was in it and it did the same thing. But now you can put it in any gear and it's like in natural. I looked and the linkage on the side of transmission and had wife go through the gears I can see it moving the arm on the transmission. But it never goes in gear. Can anyone point me in a direction to look or had this issue?

Thanks

One update I wanted to mention.
When I bought the trailblazer the cluster gauges was not working. Some times it would come on but has now not came on once in a month. The car dealer is being taken to court over that since I have paper work stating they would fix my cluster. Would that have anything to do with this issue not sending the correct signals to the transmission?

Thanks

You have a bad transmission, probably the pump. Are you within the 30 day warranty?

Sorry for the delay, Well not what I wanted to hear. But yes I'm just over my 30 days. I take it replacing the pump is not a novice job.
