I saw the air.box an the filter in it. I had to take the lid off
To put the filter in. People cut the top open for air flow but
my question is
why not jus unscrew it and just leave it open?
your engine throws off alot of heat...hollowing out the air box lets more cool air in..you do not cut the top off..if you leave it open you will be sucking a lot of hot air into your motor...
Ok i think i get it sorry. When u take the lid off u hollow the inside of it to make more room for air. Lol i thohght people wer cuttin holes in em. Imagibe if i made rhat mistke hah. Question though after the air filter why isthere a hole in the tube its connected to looks like it defeats the purpose of the filter. Should i plug that or what do people do with that?
I got that finally thanks. But after the filter is the tube its connected too
and theres a hole in it. It looks like its ment ti be there an not a rip. Did the owner befor me do somthing an add a hole or is that from factory cause idont see the point of this if all air should come thru filterm im tryin to add a photo but it eont let me attavh a pic right now
Can u buy a wider tube maybe or plug that hole? Would it be beneficial?
