Change plugs & wires when doing headers?

I'm at 60k miles right now and I plan to install Stainless Works Headers and true duals this fall. I watched this video on youtube because I'm seeing how difficult it's going to be to install the headers.

In the video they mentioned installing Granatelli wires. I checked them out and they are $135!

Since the TB will be almost 6 years old and around 60-65k miles, should I just go ahead and do the plugs and wires while I've got it all torn apart? What's a good plug to use?

Thanks in advance
Steve

I'm changing my plugs tommorow I'm at 72k bought it with 69XXX I don't know if your familiar with tbssshootouts website but suposably the passenger side is loads of fun on his article it included removing the tire. I had done some minor research on plug wires and asked around it seems that changing wires doesn't show gains as far as a HP but the upgraded wires can usually handle heat pretty well and I don't know the resistance of our stock wires but you should get a lower ohm resistence wich gets the spark there "easier" but no matter how the charge gets there gas still ignites. But it could always be good to get something new and Ofcourse if you get red they will be red-er lol

EDIT
Spark choices

MSD WIRES heard about these on tbssowners supposed to be pretty nice and they are basically half price

Thanks for the info and links!

I'm assuming those wires and plugs will work on my 5.3 also? The Granatelli wires show they work for both the 6.0 and 5.3.

I know the rear plugs can be a biotch which is why I figured it would be a good time to do them while I had it all apart to install the headers.

I am not completely sure its not designated anywhere I did compare wires for my SS and your 5.3 on Auto Parts Warehouse and all the same wires come up So I would say your good to go but im going to keep looking its driving me crazy that they cant just list 5.3 because from what I see all the wires for both models have the same exact specs.
EDIT
Thunder racing designated that MSD does make a 5.3 they are $75 Im still not seeing any differences but who knows
